Juan Farcik’s Tragic Cut EP is the impersonation of mad scientists jazz trio.
Although the emphasis is on the meticulous drum programming, each title includes a piano track (Rhode like or grand piano), bass (double bass or bass guitar) and other glitchy/vocal artefacts.
We will retain the atonal side of the production which reminds free jazz with a futuristic touch and a pronounced human feel in the composition. Between mysterious and bright chords, the artist let his fantasy run wild giving space for delicious improvisation.
While remaining on the experimental spectrum, you can’t help but dance to this Sci-fi Minimal Jazz masterpiece.
